50 Years of F1 GP
in Brazil

The exhibition that told five decades of Formula 1 in Brazil.

When
Oct 18 – Nov 20, 2022
Where
Oca, Ibirapuera Park, São Paulo
Since 1972

Half a century of racing on a single track

In 1972, Formula 1, the top category of world motorsport, came to São Paulo for the country's first Grand Prix. Fifty years later, the biggest sporting event in Latin America got an exhibition to match.

At the Oca, the show traveled through those five decades with photographs by Beto Issa and a collection of original, one-of-a-kind objects, kept under lock and key by drivers, fans and collectors. A timeline connected the races at Interlagos and Jacarepaguá, from Emerson Fittipaldi and José Carlos Pace to Ayrton Senna, Rubens Barrichello and Felipe Massa.

Presented by GP São Paulo and produced by WeDo! Entretenimento, made possible by ProAC, the São Paulo State Government's culture program.
